This recipe is so easy, it takes less than 20 minutes to make! And yet, it is absolutely delicious and goes great with a salad of your choice.
The ingredients are simple, every day items you'll definitely find in your house. Of course, you can use fresh fish or the frozen variety.
The quantities of the spices and herbs is up to you. You can also substitute or add any other kinds. It just depends on your taste!
Clean and dry the fish fillets. Use a paper towel / napkin for this.
Now sprinkle the spices, according to taste on both sides of the fillets.
Rub the ingredients gently into the fillets.
Heat the grill pan and rub a bit of oil on it. I use an stove top pan. You can also grill it inside the oven.
Place the fish fillets carefully in the pan.
Sprinkle a bit of olive oil on the top of the fish fillets. Let it cook for about 3 to 4 minutes.
Now very carefully turn over the fillets. Some of the pieces may break, just be gentle. The fillets should have a nice golden brown crust.
Once the other side is cooked, place it gently on a serving tray or directly on individual plates.
Garnish with some fresh lemon slices.
Serve hot with your favourite salad. Enjoy!
